How To Make Three Inexpensive Gifts For A Teacher {Free Printable} 1

Teachers are unbelievably deserving of a thank you gift. They teach our kids day in and day out and I can assume it is not always easy! Especially with 20+ little ones at a time. It takes a very special person to be able to do what they do! So no matter the budget I feel the importance of finding a way to give a teacher appreciation gift, no matter how small, to the brave souls that dedicate their lives to teaching my child!

DIY Sand Art in a Bottle:

This gift is inexpensive but beautiful! It can be completely handmade by a child. How is it so inexpensive? It’s not real sand. We used an edibile ‘sand’ that only cost a couple dollars. Add a little scrap fabric, leather cord, and the printable gift tag and gift is complete. This is a gift that is sentimental and makes a beautiful reminder of the child or of the joy brought to the teacher from her students.

We painted ours white, but you could choose any color you prefer.
I unwrapped each of the crayons I wanted to use.
I made two horizontal strips of tacky glue on the front panel of the box. Set crayons in a line and press firmly.
Let dry (about 30 minutes).
Add leather cord & printable gift tag and fill with pens or pencils.

We truley enjoy hand making gifts. For holidays and birthdays, we make it our mission to make at least one gift.
